Someone at MTV reads poetry, imagine that!!

They appointed a poet laureate and will have a contest (for college students)

I think it's great, if a little strange. Does anyone else remember the poetry contest that introduced the perfume Poeme? All flurry and no big finish. The winners were a few famous poets (no doubt handpicked) and some others that were barely passable as poetry.
