In the meantime- art6 is seeking new members, interns, and volunteers. We need people with talent, with time, highly motivated individuals who have seeds of ideas and want to see them flourish into something bigger.
We need artists and art lovers, people who love Richmond, people who are interested in seeing the downtown art scene hit the next level.
You don't have to be a star to be in our show, but if you've got the starstuff, we're ready to support your efforts, but please, prima donnas, there are plenty of other places for you to strut while you're waiting for new york to call- we want people who aren't too high on themselves to paint a podium, to take out a bag of trash, to do the hard work some boring committee requires.
Yeah, you're too busy to sit or to come to meetings- whatever- we're busy too, but the members of art6 believe in something bigger than art on the walls- bigger than First Friday- bigger than Broad Street-
