grommets loosed,
gussets stretched,
petticoats tossed
thoughtlessly
on the chaise lounge
our lone set-piece
draped in drama
where salacious was
too easily replaced
by lugubrious dark,
heavy as a dental drape
to prevent loss of fertility.
